Here's a very simple and tasty recipe for a delicious COFFEE DOUGHNUT!
Coffee Donut
The coffee donut is a soft and aromatic dessert, perfect for breakfast or a delicious snack. With its delicate coffee flavor, it will conquer all lovers of this drink!
Ingredients:
- 300 g of 00 flour
- 180 g of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 ml of seed oil
- 120 ml of coffee (better if espresso, already cooled)
- 1 sachet of baking powder (16 g)
- 1 sachet of vanilla or vanilla essence
- 1 pinch of salt
- Icing sugar (for decoration)
Procedure:
1. Preparing the oven and the mold: Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a bundt cake mold (about 24 cm in diameter). Alternatively, you can also use baking paper to prevent the dough from sticking.
2. Beat the eggs and sugar: In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. This step is important to make the donut soft.
3. Add the liquid ingredients: Add the seed oil and the cooled coffee, continuing to mix with a hand or electric whisk. If you want a more intense coffee flavor, you can add an extra cup of coffee or a teaspoon of instant coffee dissolved in the liquid coffee.
4. Incorporate the dry ingredients: Sift the flour, baking powder, vanilla and pinch of salt, and add them to the mixture a little at a time, mixing delicately with a spatula until you obtain a smooth, lump-free dough.
5. Pour into the mold and bake: Pour the mixture into the prepared mold and level the surface with a spatula. Bake at 180°C for about 35-40 minutes. Do the toothpick test: if it comes out clean, the donut is ready.
6. Cool and decorate: Let the cake cool in its pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar for a finishing touch.
Advice:
- You can enrich your coffee donut with chocolate chips or a coffee glaze for an even more delicious taste.
- It is perfect served with a cup of coffee or a hot drink to enhance its aroma even more.
