Homemade Coffee Cream Recipe: Freshness and Taste in a Few Steps

Preparation:


1. Make the coffee

First, prepare two cups of espresso and let them cool completely. If you want to give a little extra touch to the crema, you can add a spoonful of instant coffee to the espresso, stirring well until it dissolves completely. This will intensify the flavor.


2. Whip the cream

In a large bowl, pour the very cold fresh cream. Whip it with an electric whisk or by hand, until it becomes firm and compact. Be careful not to whip it too much , otherwise it could become buttery. If you prefer a lighter consistency, you can whip the cream semi-firm.


3. Incorporate the coffee

Once the cream is well whipped , add the sifted icing sugar and mix gently with movements from the bottom up so as not to deflate it. At this point, pour in the cold coffee , continuing to mix gently . If you want a fresher and frothier cream, also add a few finely crushed ice cubes .


4. Rest in the refrigerator

For an even creamier and more compact consistency , let the coffee cream rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This step will help to firm up the mixture and enhance the flavor of the coffee.
