Homemade Coffee Spumone Recipe

Here is a recipe for coffee spumone:

Ingredients:


• 300 ml of fresh whipping cream
• 150 ml of cold espresso coffee
• 100 g of granulated sugar
• 2 egg whites
• 1 tablespoon of bitter cocoa powder (optional, for decoration)
• Coffee beans (optional, for garnish)


Procedure:

1. Prepare the espresso and let it cool completely.

2. In a bowl, whip the fresh cream until stiff, then place it in the refrigerator.

3. In another bowl, whisk the egg whites with 50 g of sugar until they become glossy and firm.

4. In a small saucepan, dissolve the remaining 50 g of sugar in the cooled coffee.

5. Incorporate the sweetened coffee into the whipped cream, mixing gently from the bottom up.

6. Add the whipped egg whites, continuing to mix gently until you obtain a smooth cream.

7. Pour the mixture into glasses or cups and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours.

8. Before serving, sprinkle with bitter cocoa and decorate with coffee beans, if desired.

Tip: You can enrich your coffee spumone with a touch of coffee liqueur or a teaspoon of vanilla extract for a more intense flavor.
