The newly inserted cartridge has completely white exposed edges, indicating that the cartridge is new and unused. As the liters pass, it is possible to see the edges gradually darken until they become very dark brown. The color change is an excellent indicator of the product's effectiveness and of regular cartridge change.

Each replacement cartridge filters 1,000 liters, approximately 3 months of use effective** .
